LegalRM, the UK-headquartered company behind the iCompli information governance platform, announces today (24 January) that it has achieved a global certification for ISO 27001.
ISO 27001 is the international standard for information security. Leading the charge during the certification process was Alex Plampin, LegalRM’s vice president of technology. The news shortly follows an announcement from Aderant on 19 January that it has received SOC 2 certification for vi by Aderant and Expert Sierra SaaS platforms.

Both ISO 27001 and SOC 2 are designed to instil confidence in customers that an organisation is protecting their data. SOC 2 is the de facto compliance standard in North America, where ISO 27001 is more popular globally.
